The Potter's Hand

"Yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand." ~ Isaiah 64:8

I am such a stubborn daughter.  I constantly try to make myself into who I think I should be. If I would only be still and let God mold me into the princess he has created me to  be, Oh, how I could glorify Him!

Beautiful Lord, Wonderful savior
I know for sure all of my days are held in your hands
Crafted into your perfect plans

You gently called me into your presence
Guiding me by Your Holy Spirit
Teach me dear Lord to live all of my life
Through your eyes

I'm captured by your holy calling
Set me apart. I know you're drawing me to yourself
lead me, Lord. I pray

Oh Take me, mold me, use me, fill me
I give my life to the potter's hand

Oh Call me, guide me, lead me, walk beside me
I give my life to the potter's hand

You gently call me into your presence
Guiding me by your holy spirit
Teach me dear lord to live all of my life through your eyes

I'm captured by your holy calling
Set me apart. I know you're drawing me to yourself
lead me, Lord. I pray

Oh Take me, mold me, use me, fill me
I give my life to the potter's hand

Oh Call me, guide me, lead me, walk beside me
I give my life to the potter's hand
Make sure you go say hi to my friend Amy!

Stubborn? That's my middle name. Welcome to the club. I do acknowledge I need a huge deal of molding. Thanks for sharing a song that reminds me to think twice about my stubbornness.

Such a beautiful song. I need to hear it because I can be a stubborn daughter, too. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for sharing. I so much love the story of Him as the potter and me the clay. I posted a song last week that says He didn't throw the clay. I'm so glad He is still molding me and hasn't thrown me away with all the mistakes I've made.
